No. This is a casual cultural experience, not a formal dojo lesson, rank test, or certification course. It is designed for travelers who want to enjoy a short introduction to Kyudo.
The 20-Arrow Kyudo Experience takes about 30 minutes. The Traditional Kyudo Uniform plan takes about 45 minutes and the Samurai Armor plan about 60 minutes, including dressing time.
No. The experience is designed for beginners and international travelers. An instructor will guide you step by step.
Yes. In the 20-Arrow Kyudo Experience in Traditional Kyudo Uniform plan you can wear a traditional kyudo uniform. The Samurai Armor plan lets you wear samurai armor, and is limited to only one guest per day.
Yes. Photo and video opportunities are included. You can take memorable photos and videos holding a Japanese bow.
Kyudo Experience Cafe is available in Kyoto and Harajuku. Both locations are inside Ninja Experience Cafe.
Yes. One drink at our cafe is included with all plans.
Yes. Children aged 10 and up can join, at the same price as adults. Accompanying guests are required to order one drink if not participating in the experience.
No. The experience is designed for international visitors, and the instructions are simple and easy to follow.
Please wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in. If you choose a plan with a kyudo uniform, overly bulky clothing is not recommended.
